Even the EU Commission VP for the Digital Agenda, Neelie Kroes, is frustrated by data speeds in Brussels.

In a tweet on May 15th, Kroes wrote:

“Back in #Brussels and the 3G (never mind the #4G!) so bad I have to write this on my adviser’s phone. Frustrating. Avoidable.” (https://twitter.com/NeelieKroesEU/status/308997953278844928)

We couldn’t agree more! It is frustrating and avoidable.

However, mobile providers in Brussels are limited based on local regulations, not EU regulations, so unfortunately Ms. Kroes can’t help. The more frustrating the situation becomes though, the more likely action will be taken. Could Ms. Kroes be one of those “key individuals” we referred to in our last post? Only time will tell.
